Stardboard Group staffer (and pot spokesman) Joe Megyesy and his former boss, U.S. Rep. Mike Coffman, at Starboard’s open house Tuesday.
The Starboard group — known for its fundraising prowess for Republican candidates, from Mitt Romney to Congressman Mike Coffman — celebrated its new location in Greenwood Village with an open house Tuesday night.
“We had really outgrown our old offices and this move was a necessity more than anything else,” said Katie Behnke, a managing partner and founder of the Starboard Group. “It also allows for easier access to downtown Denver and the airport. We are really excited to move into these beautiful new offices.”
She and Kristin Strohm founded the firm in 2008. It now has offices in D.C. and at the Tech Center.
Among the GOP politicians and others connected to the political world who attended the open house: Coffman; Arapahoe County District Attorney George Brauchler; former congressional candidate Ryan Frazier; Rep. Libby Szabo; Michelle Yi, spokeswoman for several GOP campaigns; state GOP spokesman Owen Loftus;, consultant Jake Zambrano; and former Senate Minority Leader Josh Penry (AKA Mr. Strohm).
